- Q: Can I run the application from the hard disk?
A:
Yes, you can run the application from the hard disk. You should
create a folder on your hard disk, for example DentHD and
copy there all the contents of the flash disk. To run the application, double click on Start.exe located in the DentHD folder you created. The flash
Disk must be installed on the computer, because it serves as a key.
- Q: How can I create a shortcut on the desktop, to the Start.exe, found in the flash disk, so that it will work even if the flash disk drive letter changed?
A:
You should copy the files: Start.exe and Genlib.dll, from the
Flash disk, to the desktop. Double-clicking Start.exe launches the application
- Q: Where are Patients, Charges etc. stored?
A: All data (including pictures) are stored in Database.vdb3, inside the Data folder
- Q: Are all data stored in flash disk or somewhere on my computer?
A: All data are stored in the flash disk
- Q: By clicking Start.exe application is not starting and I get an error message. What should I do?
A:
Probably, NET Framework 2.0 is not installed on your computer.
Install it by running dotnetfx.exe in the Tools folder of flash disk. When the installation is complete run Start.exe
- Q: Can I add a new treatment work?
A: Yes, you can. Just go to "More menu">"Treatment Works">"Add"
- Q: Where is the chat room located?
A:
In the bottom of the application there is a "Chat" tab.
Moving the mouse pointer over this tab,
displays the discussion area, where you can chat with
the online users. To choose a nickname that will
appear in the discussions you should go to the "Tools menu ">
"Chat Settings "
- Q: When a dental work is added, can the patient be charged automatically?
A:
Yes, you should go to "More menu" >"Treatment Works", select the treatment you wish to be charged automatically, click "Show". At the "Details" section enter the price and check the "Automatic charge of the patient"
- Q: Is there an annual fee for the application?;
A:
No, there is no annual fee for using the application. You can use the application for as long as you wish without extra cost.
- Q:
Which are the limitations of the trial version of the application?
A:
The trial version is the same as the full version except two restrictions. It can run for 60 days and only on the computer that will be installed.
- Q: Can I enter the radiographs from my intraoral camera?
A:
Yes, through the patient window, go to the treatment plan and select the "X-Rays – Intraoral images" category. You can see this process at the "Working with treatment works and accounts" video
- Q: What are the system requirements of the application?
A:
OS: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003
CPU: At least Pentium 500 Mhz or equivalent AMD
Memory: At least 256 MB
